For some reason, some Vanagon CV joints I have dealt with have 8mm allen bolts and others have 8mm triple square bolts. The triple square is was they call a 12 point serrated internal wrenching tool. That is a mouth full! If you need this tool to work on your van, you can buy it here. It will slide into a six point 13mm socket or wrench and you are good to go.
