A few years ago, I started making videos and posting them on YouTube to help folks keep their vans on the road. We started a Youtube channel and that contains all of our videos at the moment. You should be able to find it here:

If you subscribe through YouTube you will be notified once I add new videos. Have fun and don’t watch them at work I don’t want to be blamed if you get fired!

John, the one you want is on our site. It is orange in color, and I would also recommend the other two bushings that are also on top of the tank area. You are going to need to drop your tank to replace them, so if you haven't replaced your tank seals, it would be a great time to do that as well. If you need any help finding these items on the site, let me know and I will help you further. Ken
I have an 81 air-cooled westy with a noisy front shift rod bushing, (the bushing conveniently located above the gas tank). I can't figure out which bushing I need to replace/repair it with. Most websites sell one which fits 1983 models onward.
