The kits are around $3700* for manual or automatic
Vanagons and $4200* for Syncro Vanagon kits. We install these kits here
at Van-Again and estimate 20 hours for installation or you can buy one
and install it yourself. Sell your old motor and wiring harness to someone

If you have already done a Tiico conversion or
are thinking about doing one we have some parts that will make the job
easier and the conversion better. We have new fuel rail kits for this conversion
to give you a new plastic fuel rail with new Jetta injectors, higher pressure
fuel pressure regulator. Why put your old Vanagon injectors on your new
Jetta style engine? Did you know that the Vanagon Fuel Pressure regulator
operates at almost 10 psi less than the stock Jetta Fuel Pressure regulator?
Did you know that the Jetta injectors have a higher flow rate and totally
different spray pattern than the Vanagon injectors? This can translate
into a lean running condition, and lower power. Our fuel rail kit fits
on your conversion engine perfectly and the injectors snap into place (they
are what belongs there, not the Vanagon injectors). You can buy these kits

We also have LUK clutch kits in stock that will
work well with your Tiico conversion. If you are putting this conversion
into a Manual transmission Vanagon you will want to replace your clutch
with this new heavy duty German clutch kit. Part number is ZVW332010 and
the price is $149.
Exhaust system parts: Did you know that your Tiico
conversion does not come with muffler, muffler carriers, muffler straps,
catalytic convertor, tailpipe or oxygen sensor? Fortunately we have these
parts available to make your kit completely new. Just type in PN tiicokitexhaust1
to our webstore. Pricing is $400 (save $39 by buying these in kit form).
NEW! We have discovered an oil filler tube that allows you to fill your oil from the license plate door. This allows you to check and fill from the license plate door just like the waterboxer. Pricing is $85 for the filler tube and cap. This is not a hack or kludge but a stock vw part that looks stock. Call for details.
Conversion Setup Computer Rental!
You are supposed to set your Motronic Basic Setting and CO mixture and
timing with a VW 1551 tool. Do you have access to one of these dealer only
tools? If not we have a 1551 emulator for rent. It is an IBM laptop with
the 1551 emulator software installed and also two cables for used with
either the stock Tiico cable (who knows where that came from) or the proper
"D" shaped connector that many folks are installing. We rent this tool
for $75 for a 10 day rental. Should give you plenty of time to set up your
Tiico engine properly. We also have a deluxe rental where you can rent
the 1551 emulator and also a CO meter to set your CO as well. This rental
would also be for 10 days but would be $99. The Pns for these rentals is
